Elizabeth was sister to the Rev. John ALLIN of Dedham who in his will dated 23 Aug 1670 made bequests to near kinsmen Samuel FISHER and Thomas FISHER (Suffolk Co, Mass, PR 7:139); these were the two sons of Thomas FISHER and his wife Elizabeth. In a letter of 18 May 1640 John ALLIN wrote to Edward ALLEYN, Dedham's representative to the General Court, regarding "my sister's business," noting that her husband had died intestate and she had two young children (Dedham Transcript 25 March 1938); at the meeting of the General Court on 13 May 1640 administration was granted to widow FISHER of Dedham on her husband's estate. !TAG 67:29 | Allin, Elizabeth (I14826)

Elizabeth's maiden name is not known. This is due to the fact that no vital records are extant for 16 years between 1741-1757. In 1763, son Samuel was baptised as son of Samuel and Hannah BUSHNELL. !BUSHNELL Family Genealogy, 1945 | Elisabeth (I22317)

Embarked for New England September 1635 aboard the Truelove, John Gibbs, master, which ship arrived in Boston late in November. In the passenger list he was listed alone and aged about 50. Ages were often estimates and in this case he seems to have been actually aged 48. There is no record of a family with him. His daughter Alice had preceeded him to Boston two years earlier as the bride of Richard Brackett. Three years later his sister-in-law and her husband, Edmund Rice, also came to New England to join them.
Nothing can be found of Thomas Blower in New England except in the Winthrop Papers there is extant a letter written by one Nathaniel Lufkin to Mr. John Winthrop the elder of Boston from Hitcham, Suffolk, dated April 1, 1640, by which it appears the Blower owed Lufkin 24 pounds, the debt having been incurred in England, and Lufkin wishes it collected in New England where Blower was then living. Lufkin wrote: "... there is one Edmund Rice and Henry Bruning who the bearer knows well who can tell of the debt as well as myself..." Edmund Rice was married to Thomasine Frost, sister of Thomas Blower's wife, Alice.
In the Colony Records is the following: "9 Sept 1639 -- Capt. Keayne was ordered to pay 12.10s which he re'd of Mr Saltonstall for pt of Mrs. Blowers N [necessaries?] to the treasurer." Thus, Thomas Blower must have died about 1639 which explains the dearth of record of him. | Blower, Thomas (I25714)

Evidence for Mercy Wheelock, daughter of Samuel Wheelock and Sarah Kendricks, proposed as the wife of Joseph WIGHT.
Mercy Wheelock was born 27 Dec 1685.
Mercy ____ and Joseph WIGHT were married c. 1702 (first known child b. Medfield 6 November 1702, named Mercy). Mercy Wheelock would be age 17 years. Joseph was 23.
There is no marriage record for Joseph WIGHT to Mercy in any town records found. Joseph was born in Medfield, it would be very likely he would have married in Medfield to a woman of Medfield. There is no marriage record for Mercy WHEELOCK in any town.
Have found no death record of Mercy Wheelock even though most of her siblings died young and all their death's are recorded in Medfield.
There is no other child in Medfield born named Mercy that would have been even close to the age of the wife of Joseph WIGHT.
Joseph and Mercy named their second daughter, Rebecca. Mercy Wheelock's had sister Rebeka who died young.
Her grandmother was Rebecca Clarke. There are no persons named Rebecca in the WIGHT family.
WIGHT and WHEELOCK's did intermarry, (not a lot) Mercy's daughter, Martha Wight, m. Jonathan Wheelock, son of Benjamin.
Case against:
Note: Tilden, in the "History of Medfield, 1650-1886" reports that Mercy "died young". No record exists in Medfield, though, and this is the ONLY reference I've seen that makes this "died young" claim.
In Samuel Wheelock's will there is no mention of daughter Mercy, and his two living daughters Sarah and Mehitable are both mentioned. | Mercy (I14311)

Ezekiel Sanford was an Englishman. By profession he was a Civil Engineer and doubtless came to America in the employ of the English Government. The old stockade fort at Saybrook was planned by him and erected under his supervision. He subsequently settled in the town of Fairfield, and built there, at his personal expense, the first grist mill erected in New England, receiving by way of reward for his enterprise the patent for an extensive tract of land.
10 Oct 1669- Ezekiell Sanford & Cornelius Hull were listed among the "names of ye freemen of towne of Fairefield." | Sanford, Ezekiell (I48891)
