    • Birth: 1630 (Adams 1898 pp 7, 500) 1615 (Fairbanks Courier) Millis(Historic Trail map in Medway file): Edward Adams was one of the original settlers of Medfield. He was much employed in public duties, ens. selectman for many years represented in the two first General Courts 1689, after overthrow of Andros, and died 12 Nov. 1716. His wife had died 3 Mar. 1676; but be had second wife whose name is not seen. His will of 19 May, 1715, probated 3 Dec. 1716, in our reg XIX. 225, taking notice that his wife was provided for before their marriage and that his son Jonathan, and John were, formerly, supplied by him with lands. and Edward with movab. and money, directs now, that his property be divided in nine equal parts, whereof the children of his son Eliashib dec. to have two, James, and Henry, each two, and his daughters Lydia Daniel, Sarah Turner, and Mehitable Faxon, each one. -Savage
