- His will dated 22 September 1670 and proved 1 November 1670, named his wife Ann executrix, with his cousin John WHEELER and Nathan GOLD; To Isaac, Mary and Ruth, he gave 10s, they having already received their portions; to hannah ¹10, she having received a partial portion; to Samuel, Timothy and Ephraim, minors one half of the buildings and land he lived on, when they came of age; to Rebecca a minor, land in Greenlea between Hawkin's brook and land of John ODELLS; to Abigail and Judith ¹30 each when they became eighteen or married.

- He married circa 1638 Ann TURNEY, the daughter of Robert, and joined the Rev. JONES and the group that went to Fairfield in 1644. He was known as Sergeant. Like his brothers he was a large landowner and leading citizen in the community.
