- FROM THE SIMMENDINGER REGISTER OF THE EARLY PALATINE FAMILIES OF NEW YORK
In 1717 Ulrich Simmendinger returned to Germany and published the names of families still living in 14 early NY settlements. One of those settlements is Neu - Stuttgardt (Weiserdorf, on edge of present day town of Middleburgh).

- Christian Baug and wife with 3 children were in the 6th party sailing from Holland 27 July 1709 (Rotterdam Lists); he was listed near New York 1709ers Mattys Bron, Johann Bernhardt and Johan Nikel Jung.
Christian Bauch first was mentioned on the Hunter Lists 4 July 1710 with 2 persons over 10 years of age and 2 persons under 10; the last entry for the family in Hunter noted 4 persons over 10 years and 1 under 10 years on 13 September 1712. Christian Bauch of Haysbury was a soldier in 1711 (Palatine Volunteers to Canada). He and Anna Dorothea with 5 children were at Neu-Stuttgardt ca. 1716/17 (Simmendinger Register). Christian and several of his sons were listed on Pastor Sommer's roll of Schoharie Lutheran families ca. 1744/45. [2]
