  Notes	He sailed for New Netherlands on the ship "De Eendracht," which left Holland in May, 1634. He returned on the same ship, which reached Amsterdam before 3 Dec. 1635, having worked his way over on the boat. Cornelis soon returned to New Netherlands as he was a trader and tavern-keeper in New Amsterdam in 1639. He kept his tavern and resided upon the east side of Heerewegh or Broadway, upon a land grant which was conveyed to him by the Dutch authorities about that time.
