Notes |
- Place of Birth: The birthplace of "The Great Tilse" or Doncaster, Yorkshire Etc. for Edward Sr. are purely speculation and have been proposed based on theories from the book "History and Genealogy of the Earles of Secaucus"
There is no basis for connecting the Edward Earle who arrived in Maryland in 1662, with the Edward Earle who sailed from Gravesend England to Virginia in 1635.
The reality is we do not have any sources for where in England Edward was born.
Father's Name: We currently have no basis for identifying the given name of Edward Sr.'s father, nor any basis for determining where in England Edward Sr. came from. Edward Earle (abt.1590-) from Yorkshire as a speculative father for Edward Earle Sr. and has been added to many family trees.
