Andrew J. Friz age 35
residence: Jamestown Twp
Mary E. Williams age: 15
esidence: Jamestown Twp
clergyman: S.S.N. Greeley
witnesses: J.W. Rathbun & Hiram Rathbun*
Hiram Rathbun was a hotel keeper in Grand Rapids (Rathbun House). He was also a Justice of the Peace in 1851. At the time of their marriage, they listed their residences as Jamestown Township.
J. W. Rathbun was Hiram's brother, John Williams Rathbun - named for his paternal grandmother, Mary Williams. No known family connection to Mary Elizabeth Williams, but interesting. (4/2003)
