  Notes	Jesse of Grimsby received his grant of 200 acres of land on December 24, 1823, for E 1/2 lots 18 and 19, con. 7, Garafraxa Twp. He received the Patent from the Crown on September 22, 1824. His descendants in Georgetown still have the original "location ticket" which he drew for this farm. Jesse sold the last of his Garafraxa property in 1856 and moved to Kinloss Township in Bruce County. Jesse "Marredeth" of Sanilac County, Michigan, received a land patent dated 3 December, 1861 for 120 acres in Sanilac County (Cert. No. 33,558).
