Abstract of JONATHAN CAMPBELL'S will of Minisink, Orange County, New York. 8 Dec 1810
1. All debts, to be paid out of estate.
2. I give to my son JONATHAN CAMPBELL, his heirs, etc. who now lives with me at farm I now live on
a. Purchased farm from DANIEL VAN FLEET
b. All appurtances of farm to go to son JONATHAN.
c. Son JONATHAN to inherit about 500 lbs.due to JONATHAN Sr. from RICHARD EASELL.
d. An obligation against BENJAMIN BLOOM
e. An obligation against HENRY REDEKER
3. Give to my daughter MARY HEDGER $25.00.
4. Give to my son BENJAMIN CAMPBELL $12.00.
5. Give to my daughter MEHITTABLE AUSTIN $25,00.
6. Give to my son JAMES CAMPBELL $25.00.
7. Give to my daughter JULIA WIND $25.00.
8. Give to my two sons BENJAMIN and JAMES equally between them a certain parcel of land I purchased of THOMAS BULL lying in Town of Newburgh.
9. All of the above (illegible) to be over and above whatsoever my children above named has had out of my estate heretofore.
10. My will is that my woman slave JANE be put at liberty.
11. Two bound children, one to BENJAMIN BLOOM and ROGER HOWELL, slaves during their natural lives, after expiration of bonds or indentures be let free and at liberty and do for themselves.
12. I ask my executors to collect all the debts which are due me.
a. The debts to be collected by law.
b. To pay the legacies above mentioned.
c. If not enough money, my son JONATHAN to make up defiency.
d. If debts more than enough to pay the legacies, overplus to be equally divided between the heirs.
e. Likewise all the estate which isn't otherwise disposed of to be equally divided between heirs.
13. I do further appoint sons JONATHAN CAMPBELL and JAMES CAMPBELL and INCREASE B. STODDARD to be my executors.
14. This my last will and testament, I put my hand this 8 Dec. 1810.
15. Witnesses, ABRAHAM KITCHAM, ADDI WILSON, JOHN STORY.
16. Signed, JONATHAN CAMPBELL.

17. Orange County, N.Y. Be it remembered that on 4, Feb. 1813, appeared before me JAMES EVERETT, Surrogate of the county of Orange, N.Y. ABRAHAM KETCHAM, AND JOHN STOREY. They signed for JONATHAN CAMPBELL, his written instrument purporting to be his last will and testament.
a. Hearing on 8 Dec. 1810.
b. Diseased was of sound mind and memory to the best of the knowledge and belief of the deponents and that together with ADDI WILSON subscribe their names in the presence office of surrogate.
18. The preceding is a true copy of the orginal will of JONATHAN CAMPBELL of the certificate or the proof.
