- He was of artillery company 1652, representative 1659, 65, 74 and 5, the lieutenant killed by the Indians 21 Feb. 1676, at his own door, as mentioned by Increase Mather in the history of King Philip's war. His wife was mortally wounded the same night, at the home of Rev. Mr. Wilson though she lived a week. !The Wight, page 58
