  • Notes  Married:
    • Daniell JONES married Hannah STANNARD who was listed as "of Hebron" in August of 1722. In Saybrook vital records the following is recorded: "These may signify to all whome it may concern that Daniell the son of Ens. Samuell JONES of Say Brook has been married to her that is his present wife Hannah formerly STANNARD I say married by me the Azariah MATHER Pastor Xth Church att Say Brook." dated Saybrook 20 Dec 1716. It is apparent after their first child was born in Saybrook, 1718 that they had by 1720 removed to Hebron, Tolland Co, several miles north of Saybrook. The unusual spellings of the later childrens' given names evidently disappeared as there is no trace of them in records.
