Abstract of JONATHAN CAMPBELL'S will of Minisink, Orange County, New York. 8 Dec 1810

1. All debts, to be paid out of estate.
2. I give to my son JONATHAN CAMPBELL, his heirs, etc. who now lives with me at farm I now live on
a. Purchased farm from DANIEL VAN FLEET
b. All appurtances of farm to go to son JONATHAN.
c. Son JONATHAN to inherit about 500 lbs.due to JONATHAN Sr. from RICHARD EASELL.
d. An obligation against BENJAMIN BLOOM
e. An obligation against HENRY REDEKER
3. Give to my daughter MARY HEDGER $25.00.
4. Give to my son BENJAMIN CAMPBELL $12.00.
5. Give to my daughter MEHITTABLE AUSTIN $25,00.
6. Give to my son JAMES CAMPBELL $25.00.
7. Give to my daughter JULIA WIND $25.00.
8. Give to my two sons BENJAMIN and JAMES equally between them a certain parcel of land I purchased of THOMAS BULL lying in Town of Newburgh.
9. All of the above (illegible) to be over and above whatsoever my children above named has had out of my estate heretofore.
10. My will is that my woman slave JANE be put at liberty.
11. Two bound children, one to BENJAMIN BLOOM and ROGER HOWELL, slaves during their natural lives, after expiration of bonds or indentures be let free and at liberty and do for themselves.
12. I ask my executors to collect all the debts which are due me.
a. The debts to be collected by law.
b. To pay the legacies above mentioned.
c. If not enough money, my son JONATHAN to make up defiency.
d. If debts more than enough to pay the legacies, overplus to be equally divided between the heirs.
e. Likewise all the estate which isn't otherwise disposed of to be equally divided between heirs.
13. I do further appoint sons JONATHAN CAMPBELL and JAMES CAMPBELL and INCREASE B. STODDARD to be my executors.
14. This my last will and testament, I put my hand this 8 Dec. 1810.

17. Orange County, N.Y. Be it remembered that on 4, Feb. 1813, appeared before me JAMES EVERETT, Surrogate of the county of Orange, N.Y. ABRAHAM KETCHAM, AND JOHN STOREY. They signed for JONATHAN CAMPBELL, his written instrument purporting to be his last will and testament.
a. Hearing on 8 Dec. 1810.
b. Diseased was of sound mind and memory to the best of the knowledge and belief of the deponents and that together with ADDI WILSON subscribe their names in the presence office of surrogate.
18. The preceding is a true copy of the orginal will of JONATHAN CAMPBELL of the certificate or the proof.

3665 WILL OF EBENEZER THOMSON-4:
In the name of God, Amen, the ninth Day of October in the year of our Lord 1747.
I , Ebenezer Thomson of Mendon in the County of Worcester and Province of Massachusetts Bay in New England, Yoeman, being weak by reason of age together with lanquishing sickness therefore, calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed to all men once to die. I do make and ordain this my last Will and Testimony;

That is to say , prinsaply and first of all, I give and recommend my soul into the hands of God Tthat gave it, hoping through the merits of my Saviour . Jesus Christ to have free pardon of all my sins and to inherit everlasting life and my body I commit tothe earth to be decently buried at the descresion of my son , Edward Thomson, according to the method of the place where he lives, and nothing doubting that at the general Resurection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God; and as touching those worldly goods and estate as herewith it hath pleased God to bless me with, in this life, I give, demise and depose of the same in the following manner and form. That is to say, first. I will that all those dues and debts which I owe in right of concience to aney manner of person whatsoever shall be well and truly paid in a convenient time after my
decease by my son Edward Thomson.

Item: I give and bequeth to Dorothy, mt beloved wife, my great Bible and her thirds in all my moveable estate, boath real and personal, during her life, and one-half of my movables tha tare in the house, I mean my housel goods, I give to my wife her own disposing ; the other half I give my daughter , Deborah Hall, or to my said Daughter's heirs , in case she should decease before me, said goods to be equily divided between my wife and daughter imediate after my decease.

In the next place I give to my eldest son, Ebenezer Thomson, and to my second son Eleazer Thomson, and to my third son, Ezra Thomson and Mehetable Rockwood's children. who was a daughter of mine, being now deceased, and to my daughter Deborah Hall, equily together, two certian pieces of land laying in said Mendon , near Bellingham line, on the East side of Mill River, containing one hundred acres-excepting ten acres on the southermost side of the southernost piece of said land which I give to my son Elisha Thomason-my deceased daughter's children. all of them to have one share equil to one of the rest.

Futhermore I do likewise constitute and ordain my son Ezra Thomson , my only and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and I do herby utterly dialow and disanul all and every other and former Tesaments and Wills, legacies and execution , by me before in aney ways. named willed and bequeathed, rattified, and confirmed.

This and no other be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal the day and year above written in the twenty first year of his Majesty's Reign , annoque, 1747.

In the Name of God Amen -I Sarah Arnold of Pawtuxet in the Township of Providence in the Colony of Rhoad Island and Providence Plantations Widow being aged and striken in years but of perfect sense & memmorey thenkes be given to God therefore Calling to mind the mortallity of my body and knowing that it is appoynted for all men once to dy, Do therefore make this my last will & testament in'manner & form following that is to say I bequeath my soul to God that made it hoping by the merit of our saviour.Jesus Christ to be raised up to everlasting salvation. And as for m@, body I bequeath it to the earth to be buried in deceant,ancl ;hristanlike manner at the discression of my executor here after named And as for what wordly welth it hath pleased the Lord to bestow upon me, I give bequeath and devise as followeth:

Item: I give to my daughter Elizabeth Green ye sum of ten pounds in money & a new coverlid the money to be at seventeen penyweight six shillings.
Item - I give to my daughter Sarah Carpenter the sum of ten pounds in money at seventeen peny weight for six shillings.
Item: I give to my grand Daughter Mary Smith fifty shillings seventeen peny weight.
Item: I give to my four grand Daughters Elizabeth Smith, Hannah Smith Sarah Smith and Phcebe Smith five pounds apiece in money at the same lay above sd.
Item: Whereas I borrowed eight pounds of my son Stephen Arnold and lent it to Peter Green of Coweaset and the sd Peter Green gave bond for the money to my son Stephen, how be it I paid my son Stephen for the Sd eight pounds and now the bond from said Peter Green is to my son Stephen although it be my proper estate Therefore I give and bequeath the sd eioht pounds to my sd son Stephens four daughters viz Phebe Arnold Mary Arnold Sarah Arnold and Penelope Arnold to be equally divided amongst them that is forty shillings apeice to each of them.
Item: I give to my son Stephen Arnold imy Great Case of Bottles.
Item: I give to my three Grand Daughters Elizabeth Smith Hannah Smith and Pfiebe Smith each of them a great Pewter Platter.
Item: I give to my grand Daughter Sarah Smith the rest of my Pewter all excepting my bed pan and that is to be for ye use of any or all my children, also I give to her my silver drain cup. Item: I give to my daughter Sarah Carpenters Daughter Sarah a silver spoon and one of my great chests.
Item: I give to my daughter Sarah Carpenter one Gown and one Petty Coat.
Item: I give my bed and three blankets to my Grand Daughter Sarah Arnold my son Stephens daughter.
Item: for all the rest of my estate that is left at my decease after all these legacyes are paid out
I give and bequeath to my Daughter Phebe Smith wife of Benjamin Smith.
Item: I do by these presents constitute and appoint my loving Son in Law Benjamin Smith of Patuxit in the Township of 'Warwick in the Colony Of Rhoad Island and Providence plantations To be the whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament to execute all and ever particular according to the true purport and meaning thereof to receive in all Depts due me and to pay all legacys herein before mentioned and herewith I renounce all former wills testaments or bequeaths by me heretofore made Ratyfying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and scale this twenty sixth day of Aprill in the year of Our Lord 1708.
