3585 Uncle Albert drove a grocery wagon pulled by a horse (named Joe). He would make rounds during the morning, take the orders, go back to the grocery to fill the orders and then deliver in the afternoons. His nephew, Sanford, would often help him. Albert was listed as surviving sister Hilma in 1953. Albert lived in Colorado. He was a photographer for stereoscope pictures. We have a photograph of Albert and his wife Marian in Colorado. Olson, Albert Emanuel (I29)

3586 Under item 5 of Josiah's will of 1842 is found this interesting bequeath:

"I give and bequeath one half an acre of land lying in the orchard on the south side of the road being the easterly part of the farm said piece of land is to be used as a family burying ground and kept for that purpose and those heirs who shares nearest to the same keep it in repair and have the fruit and feed belonging to the same and if said farm or any part of it shall be sold by the heirs that belongs or joins said burying ground it shall be reserved and kept for the purpose aboved mentioned, etc."

In 1996, the orchard was discovered but no gravestones were to be found. The apple trees found on the farm were about 150 years old. The farm is no longer in production and has been left to grow back to brush and trees.

3597 Very likely, Lydia died not long before 6 July 1725 when a testamentary deed from Joseph and Lydia White to their son, Joseph (3), dated 4 December 1704, was acknowledged by a witness. It suggests that the deed was not filed
until Lydia, the remaining grantor, had died.

Benson Genealogy states she died May 8, 1727, but this is probably Lydia Copeland, wife of another Joseph White.
